Proper Candle Maintenance

These are the essential points for proper candle maintenance.

  • A candle should be burned in an open space, and don't leave the candle unattended.
  • Keep away from the easily flammable materials.
  • Keep the burning candle out of reach of children and pets.
  • Always place the candle on a heat-resistant surface away from heat sources.
  • It's better to practice removing trimmings before each lighting.
  • Glass jars will become hot when lit. Handle it with care.
  • To reduce the amount of smoke produced, keep the wick trimmed to one-fourth inches at all times. If flame smokes, extinguish and cut wick once cooled.
  • After each burning session, keep wicks level and centered.
  • Avoid using in small spaces.
  • Stop using when a ½ inch of wax remains.
  • It is recommended not to use the candle for longer than 3 hours.
