Proper Candle Maintenance
These are the essential points for proper candle maintenance.
- A candle should be burned in an open space, and don't leave the candle unattended.
- Keep away from the easily flammable materials.
- Keep the burning candle out of reach of children and pets.
- Always place the candle on a heat-resistant surface away from heat sources.
- It's better to practice removing trimmings before each lighting.
- Glass jars will become hot when lit. Handle it with care.
- To reduce the amount of smoke produced, keep the wick trimmed to one-fourth inches at all times. If flame smokes, extinguish and cut wick once cooled.
- After each burning session, keep wicks level and centered.
- Avoid using in small spaces.
- Stop using when a ½ inch of wax remains.
- It is recommended not to use the candle for longer than 3 hours.
